How it Works

The Staying Stopped Programme is designed for those who do not wish to go to rehab; for those who have tried fellowship meetings but have not felt able to engage with the programme and finally those who may have had a bad experience and ended up back in the cycle of addiction.

The procedure prepares you in a way which suits you, with counselling to learn more about the issues you are having. We then support you in the process of 90 meetings in 90 days, with a designated recovery coach who will help you delve a little deeper into your issues.  This process can either take place before or after 12-step meetings, which will work towards making your personal recovery as comfortable as possible. This is undertaken at the speed you need so as to ensure your recovery has a solid foundation from where you can rebuild your life and relationships.

How it Works

The Staying In, The Staying Stopped programme advocates the 12-step model. It is designed to help achieve recovery through traditional means of addiction support, whilst being firmly rooted in evidence-based practice.

At Six, they specialise in addiction and, amongst their staff, have many years of recovery from addictive behaviours and substances.

Six's unique 12-step programme of recovery, incorporating physical wellbeing, was originally set up by Tony Adams for his sport’s charity, Sporting Chance Clinic.

This programme incorporating a time in residential and detoxed through our trusted partners, then supported by a therapist, recovery worker and mentor, will take the client through a 12-week holistic life changing reconstruction.

The intimacy of this connected group, one to one therapy and any lengths sobriety, together with the social connection from fellowship groups are the real foundation of our programme.

Six will help you heal your trauma and re-connect with life and the community again.
